Wednesday Wants #24

Okay. I am a terrible blogger!

I'm not sure how long I've been away, but it's been a fair amount of time. Sorry about that!

I've been working lots of extra hours, having family time. and (shock, horror!), going on dates which has taken up most of my time. Add to that the fact that I hate this new Blogger layout, and my motivation to post has been nil. 

Onwards and upwards though I say, I'm going to try and write some posts today and hopefully get back on the blogging horse!
Anyway, heres some things on my Christmas list..

Clinique Chubby Stick Intense, in Grandest Grape, £16.

These new Chubby sticks have a lot more colour than their predecessors, but are still as quick and easy to apply. This is a beautiful purple shade, with just the right amount of pink, and a fab colour for the colder months. I'm also keen to try it to see if it's worth the price difference between this and the Revlon balm stains.

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector, in 03 Nude, £16.

This is a lovely product. Smells beautiful, gives your lips a nice shine, tastes delicious and leaves them feeling really moisturised. What's not to love?! 

 

Yankee Candle Black Cherry Large Jar, £19.49.

Last, but most certainly not least, my new favourite Yankee Candle scent. I have the car version of this in my car ,(obviously!), at the moment, and I absolutely love it! It's beaten Christmas Cookie for the topspot, as it is just so nice and I want my whole house to smell like this!

Wednesday Wants #23

Heya!

So, I'm not going to get into how terrible I have been (once again!) at doing posts, and reading/commenting on other blogs! I've been super busy this week, but fingers crossed I'll have more time to myself next week :)

 First up, this Sirius Sonic Skincare System. Bit of a mouthful! This is basically a Clarisonic dupe, but is a lot more reasonable at £65 from Boots. This uses batteries instead of a charging station, but the basic electric-toothbrush-for-your-face-principle is the same. I've found lots of positive reviews about this online.

For my Birthday (six days away!!), I am redecorating my bedroom, and how amazing is this wallpaper?! I'm thinking of having this on one main wall, and then a contrasting colour on the other three.  The tricky thing will be deciding between this Indigo version, or this pink one.

Lastly, MAC lipstick in Deeply Adored, from the Marilyn Monroe collection. To be honest, nothing from this collection really blows me away, but I do like the looks of this shade, a nice deep brown red, with a matte finish. I do like the packaging of this collection, but I thought I'd like it alot more! This is £15.50, sold out online

Review - Montagne Jeunesse Virgin Olive Mask

I recently tried a Montagne Jeunesse face mask for the first time, and thought I would do a little review :)

The Montagne Jeunesse face masks are pretty raved about in the blogging world, and now I can see why! The one I tried was the Virgin Olive Ultra Deep Cleansing Masque. 

This mask is pale green in colour, and quite heavily scented (therefore maybe not the best for sensitive skinned folk!). The smell was quite floral, but it didn't really bother me, although I found it to slightly sting my eyes, so make sure to keep it well away from the eye area!

The instructions said to leave it on 10-15 minutes, which I did, by which point it had hardened. I'm not a massive fan of masks that harden as I tend to find they leave my skin a bit dry, but this one didn't.

I did find this slightly hard to remove with just water, so I ended up taking it off with a muslin cloth.

I was left with skin that looked clear, plump and felt as soft as a babys bottom!

Montagne Jeunesse face masks are BUAV and Vegetarian approved, and they have lots of different masks, for different skin types and problems.

I would definitely recommend this product, and will be buying it again. It is a bargain at £1.00 from Boots, especially as I got two uses out of it!

Wednesday Wants #22

Morning!

Here's what I am lusting after at the moment. My spending ban is actually over now (yay!), but I'm still trying to be sensible with my money, and am attempting to wait a while before purchasing products, and do less spur of the moment shopping. That's the plan anyway!

First up, is this beautiful magnetic quad from Art Deco, by Dita Von Teese. It comes empty, but you can fill it with multiple combinations of blusher, eyeshadow and applicators. I love the packaging of this, and it has a really good sized mirror inside. I'm hoping to get one of these and fill it with eyeshadows. They have a wide range of colours, and I particularly like the matte mid brown shades (can't remember the number of it!).

This is £14 from Debenhams. The individual eyeshadows are £6.

Next up, a new product from Marks and Spencers. I'm very into my foaming face washes, and as soon as I smelt this one I knew I wanted it! It has quite a strong, herbaly smell, which may put off people with sensitive skin, but I love it! This has a minimum of 95% natural ingredients, and is free from Parabens, Silicones and Mineral oil.

This is £5 for 125ml from Marks and Spencers.

Lastly, is this Barry M nail varnish in Gold Mine. I have a lot of love for Barry M nails varnishes, and as the weather is getting more wintery, I'm getting excited again about festive nails! I've Googled this, and  the pictures look absolutely beautiful!

I am absolutely in love with the Collection 2000 Cream Puff, and I will be going back to buy more colours! It has the most amazing formula, goes on creamy, but dries to a beautiful matte, and it smells like cake! What more could you ask for?!

Happy Holiday #1

Hello!

Long time no blog! Thought I would ease my way back into the blogging world by doing a holiday post :)

I had a week in Cornwall,(staying in Tintagel),with my Dad and Brother,  and it was beautiful!

Really didn't want to come home, and have been longing to go back to the sea ever since! I took quite  lot of pictures, but I'm aware that holiday photos are only really interesting to the people who were on that holiday, so I thought it best to not include all of them in one go!
