FOTD/OOTD - Vegas Baby!

Afternoon everyone! :)
A few people commented on my Giveaway saying that they'd like to see more Outfit/Face Of The Days, so here you go!

Cape/jumper thing- New look (old!)
Vest- Henry Holland at Debenhams
Jeans- H&M
Boots- River Island (Old!)

Hello shiny!
Maybe it's time to start using powder again?!
Earrings- Topshop
Foundation- Studio sculpt NC15
Mascara- Maybelline Volum' express one by one
Lips-  MAC Vegas Volt
Blusher- Topshops Powdered

My much loved MAC Ruby Woo is on it's last legs, so I'm trying to use my other lipsticks and save my fave lippy for special occassions. Vegas Volt is a lipstick I often overlook as I'm never sure if I can pull it off with my hair colour.
It's such a nice summery colour though, that I decided to be brave and wear it, even if I did get a few funny looks! It's alot more orange than it's showing in the pics, the flash seems to have made it more pink looking.

I wasn't doing anything special, so the outfit was pretty casual. I love the cape thing, but it's a total nightmare! It doesn't look it, but there's loads of buttons, and it always takes me ages to work out how to button it correctly! I'm so happy I found my little green apple earrings, I love them so much :)

I also tried something new with my hair. I love how other people manage to achieve the perfect, messy, big buns (ooer), whereas mine always end up more like topknots. I watched a few vids on how to do them with the method of rolling strands of hair and pinning them in a circle around a pony tail. That's a really bad explanation, I hope you know what I mean! I really liked the look, my friend said I looked like Audrey Hepburn with the hairstyle, and that's always nice!

I'm sure you're not really interested in pics of my hair, but I'm really proud!
Anyway, sorry for the rambly post, I don't know how some people manage to make their posts so concise and to the point!

Hope everyone is well, thankyou for reading :)

  1. I love big hair buns, I am impressed by yours! My silly hair isn't long or thick enough for that kinda thing! Love your makeup, how good is Studio Sculpt?! I got it recently and it makes my face pretty shiny but I still loooove it.

    1. Haha thanks! Yeah i love it too, i kinda convince myself that it gives me a natural, healthy, dewy look, but in reality it is just a bit shiny! Nothing a bit of powder can't solve though :) x

  2. I love those boots, I remember seeing them when they where out, and always wished I got them. Your make is also very nice. When I use Studio Sculpt, it looks nothing like that at all, I think my skin just absorbs all moisture from it lol I really like the dewy look though.

    1. Oh really? yeh I know quite a few people who say studio sculpt doesn't work for them. Ahh thanks :) I bought them in the sale when there was only one pair left, they're actually a size too small but I don't mind suffering for them! x
