Hand Cream Collection

Hey Guys :)

My skin tends to be pretty dry, especially on my face and my hands. I moisturise my face every day, (usually twice a  day!), but often I forget to do the same with my hands. So, this winter I decided I'd start using hand creams before they got really dry and sore, and I've built up quite a collection!

Only just realised that the L'Occitane one is upside down! oops!

Firstly, I'll start with the Marks and Spencer Rose Moisturising Hand and Nail Treatment. This one is a touch more watery that I would like, but the scent is divine. I'm having a real rose obsession at the moment! A little bit goes along way, it sinks in quickly without any greasiness, and the scent lasts really well. This is £2 for 100ml, which is a bargain in itself, but at the moment it's also buy one get one half price across Marks and Spencer bath/body stuff. I've bought loads of these in different scents as they make cute christmas presents :)

Next in my collection is the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream  Intensive Moisturising Hand Treatment (what a mouthful!). This is another freebie, also in a 30ml. This one is my second favourite of the bunch. It's not as thick as the L'Occitane one, but it's not watery. It sinks in really quickly, and doesn't leave any resiude. This one is great for carrying around in your bag, and re-applying during the day. It has got the 8 hour cream smell, but it's no where near as strong. The scent is really hard to describe, the one word I'd use is 'medicinal', which probably isn't to everyones taste, but I really like it.
This is £24 for 75ml from Boots.

Thirdly, I've got the Arbonne FC5 Ultra Hydrating Hand Creme. This is a 15ml size, and I got it in one of my Glossybox's.This one also has a really nice smell,  kiwi and also kind of sweet. Like the others, it sinks in pretty well, isn't too greasy, but it also isn't anything special. When I leave this on overnight, I don't wake up with hands as soft as I would have if I'd used the Marks and Spencers or the L'Occitane. Annoyingly, the website is out of stock of these, and I can't find how much it is full size, or how much you get!

I got this gorgeous L'Occitane one free with a magazine. My mind has totally gone blank, and I can't remember which magazine it was, but this is quite a generous size. It's 30ml, and I'd say it's lasted me about two weeks, putting it on once a day, but I do use quite alot! This is really thick, and creamy. It takes a while to sink into the skin, (which is why I use it at night),but it isn't greasy.
The one thing I don't love about this hand cream is the smell. I'm not sure why, but I was expecting this to smell really nice, quite perfumed. I've got the Cocoa Flower version. It doesn't smell bad, to me it smells like baby cream!, and it's very subtle. I think I'd just prefer something with a stronger scent. On the whole, this is my fave hand cream I've ever and I'm going to buy a replacement soon.
I've just looked on the L'occitane website, and the 30ml size is £7.50, so getting it free was a bargain!
150ml is £17.50.

Lastly, I've got another Marks and Spencers one. It's the Essential Extracts Wild Berry Hand and Nail Cream. This one is probably the runniest of the bunch, but makes up for it with the lovely smell! I really like to use this one for my nails, and also as body moisturiser for elbows, knees and other areas of dry skin. It's a really nice all rounder :)
This is £1 for 100ml, and is in the buy one get one half price deal.
Also, all Marks and Spencer own brand bath, skincare and cosmetics are BUAV approved,  meaning they are cruelty free.

On a completely unrelated note, I thought I'd share a purchase I made yesterday that I forgot to include in my small haul! In Boots, I stumbled across the Vaseline Limited Edition Creme Brulee. I saw this mentioned on blogs and youtube a few months ago, but could never find it. I don't tend to use vaseline much, just because I've got other lipbalms that I prefer, but I thought I'd grab a few because they're limited edition, and smell so nice! I've lost the receipt, but I think this was around £2.
Yummy.

Did anyone else pick up the limited edition Vaseline? And if anyone's got any recommendations for good hand creams, let me know :)

Thanks for reading, hope everyone is well!
